Ok
Harry, I have decided you need to become
a writer!!! Yes your barbeque is
outstanding, but come on...your writing
is superb!!! Your calling is in being an
author!!!

Face it, without out loved ones,
it just wouldn't mean the same
to place in any contest BBQ or
otherwise (can you believe I
just said that?!?!?). (I wish
you could send me the story of
pulling Dolly up to New York
City so I could send that to my
mom, she's 84. Being a former
librarian and an AVID reader,
she would enjoy your snapshots
of life and I loved the rubbing
her hips on the rusty bridge
part LOL.)

Please tell me you have the
same delectible turkey as
always. My husband doesn't
really like turkey but he likes
yours very much. So, PLEASE have
the usual, wonderful turkey

Harry--I hope that you are
keeping copies of all your
"writings" and will someday put
them into a book for
publication. They're great.
And by the way, when are you
cooking for us again?

Harry - just wanted to let
you know we've really enjoyed
the sauce from your church
fundraiser - Great flavor.
Available in larger quantities?
For what it's worth, can't
imagine any other Emory
Rd/Powell places have bbq that's
as good as yours.

I
went to Dillwyn, VA over the weekend to visit the folks
and took a good supply of your Q-WE-DO ribs up with me.
Plan was to fill up on ribs and have a rousing game of
spades where Amanda and I whoop up on Kyle and Alison.
Well that was the plan.
Kyle had other plans. He does not like losing. But
I've learned to take the long view, think
strategically, plan ahead. The ribs! That's right
cousin. You were very helpful in my plan to win at
spades, for a change. And of course boost the
confidence and self esteem of my other very sweet young
cousin and playing partner Amanda! We thank you for
your help. After filling Kyle & Alison up with your
ribs. They had to declare they were the best ribs they
had ever eaten. Of course they were also over stuffed
and the sedative effect was kicking in. Now myself,
having had your very fine ribs before was therefore
forearmed and prepared to pace myself. Alas, Kyle &
Alison not so. The result was a sound whoopin by Amanda
and me against Kyle & Alison in Spades. I cannot lie, I
have to attribute much of the success to those mighty
fine ribs. That and Amanda is really sharp as a whip at
those cards. I think as soon as her hands get a little
bigger I may start teaching her how to shuffle the
deck more favorably for us. But you didn't hear that
from me.
Kyle did say to tell you they were the best ribs he had
ever eaten. Keep making those good vittles!
